It is like a present that trade winds blow over this pearl in the atlantic ocean, with long and white beaches. From November to April the wind blows with strong 4-6 Bft and covers the ocean with whitecaps waves. “Ilha da Sal” is already long known by the surfer scene as a fantastic winter spot.

Our station is located on the best spot of the island. The „ Praia do Leme Bedje” at Santa Maria, where the latest surf rigs are provided by our professional team. Brand new Fanatic boards and North sails are available and just waiting to be tested by you.
The best „allround“ conditions for freestyle, race and slalom are to be found at the bay of Santa Maria. Our Team will specially attend
to beginners on site.
After a short „cruise“ through shallow water, you will reach the wave spot with perfect wind from the left. After a water excursion our Beach-Lounge is just the place to relax and be entertained by local music and rhythms. Just step in. Sandwiches and cool drinks are being served. Afterwards, there is easy access to the nightlife of Santa Maria Downtown, with it’s many shops and bars, only a short walk from our station.
